Star Stacker offers a convenient platform for transforming a sequence of star photographs captured over the course of a night into mesmerizing star trail images or captivating time-lapse videos.

Upon importing your photos, you gain the capability to craft stunning images and time-lapse videos with several distinctive effects:

Full trails: Each star shines brightly throughout the trail.
Faded trails: Stars progressively brighten during the process.
Shooting star: Similar to faded trails, with the final image featuring a brighter appearance, mimicking a shooting star effect.
Javelin: Both ends of the trail are subtly faded.
Warp mode: The image stack gradually zooms in, creating a unique warped effect. Note that the foreground may also be affected, necessitating post-processing if the foreground is included in the images.

Additionally, users have the option to save a time-lapse video based on their chosen image stacking settings.

The software allows for easy import of images from your Photos app. For RAW files freshly imported from an SD card reader, there might be a brief delay before the full-resolution files become accessible.

It's important to bear in mind that there are resolution constraints based on the device utilized and its available memory:
